इसमें वक्ता के शब्दो को ज्यो का त्यों पस्तुत किया जाता है इस दसा मे वक्ता के शब्दो को inverted commas ("-") मे रखा जाता है जैसे english talking practice

The boy asked his teacher " where can i get this book ?

इस वाक्य मे where can i get this book? Direct speech कहलाता है

ऐसे वाक्य के दो भाग होते है -

1 reporting speech

यह वाक्य का inverted comnas से पहले का भाग होता है जिसके तीन भाग होते है -

उपरोक्त वाक्य मे the boys, subject है
2 reporting verb

उपरोक्त वक्त मे reporting verb है - asked
3 object उपरोक्त वाक्य मे object है - teacher

2 reported speech

"Inverted commas " के अंदर का भाग होता है

Indirect speech

इसमें वक्ता की कही बात को मुलरूप मे न रखकर वक्ता के शब्दो का सारांश अपने शब्दो मे कहा जाता है!

ऊपर लिखित वार्तालाप को हम दूसरे रूप मे इस प्रकार पस्तुत करते है -

Direct speech को indirect speech मे बदलने के कुछ सामान्य नियम

! Inverted commas को हटा देते है

!! Reporting verb के बाद वाले comma को हटा देते है

!!! Conjuctuon "that" का प्रयोग किया जाता है

जैसे my friend said i'm ill ( direct speech )

My friend said that he was ill ( indirect speech )

!!!!reporting verb का tense नहीं बदलता है परन्तु ज़ब इसके बाद ऑब्जेक्ट होता है तो said to को told मे बदल देते है practice english speaking

जैसे ram said to me im strong ( direct speech )

Raam told me that he was strong ( indirect speech )

!!!!! Direct speech के पहले capital अक्षर को स्माल अक्षर मे बदलते है reporting speech मे प्रयुक्त और proper noun का आरम्भ capital word m e ही रखते है

इन परिवर्तनो के अतिरिक्त direct को indirect मे बदलने मे क्रिया का tense, सर्वनाम आदि संबंधित कई अन्य नियम है जो निचे दिया जा रहे है

क्रिया के काल मे परिवर्तन

नियम 1 Reporting verb वर्गमान या भविष्य काल मे हो तो reported speech के वर्ब का tense नहीं बदलते learn and speak English

जैसे - raam says " kishan is a good boy."( direct speech )

Raam says that kishan is a good boy. ( indirect speech )

2 he will say anil is telling a lie ( direct speech )

He will say that anil is telling a lie ( indirect speech )

नियम 2 यदि reporting verb भूतकाल मे है तो reporting speech के वर्ब का tense नियम्नलिखित रूप मे बदलेगा English language speaking practice

1 present indifinite का tense past indefinite मे ( is, am, are, के स्थान पर was, were हो जाता है )

2 present continuous का tense past continuous मे ( is, am, are के स्थान पर was, were, हो जाता है )

3 present perfect का tense past perfect मे बदलेगा ( has, have के स्थान पर had हो जाता है )

4 present perfect continuous tense past perfect continuous मे बदल जाता है (has, have, के स्थान पर had हो जायेगा )

5 past indefinite tense past perfect मे बदलेगा

(Went के स्थान पर had gone हो जायेगा

6 past continuous tense का past perfect continuous मे, ( was, were going के स्थान पे had been going हो जायेगा )

7 past perfect and past perfect continuous tense नहीं बदलते (:had gone and and had been going ही रहते है )

8 future tense निम्नलिखित रूप मे बदलता है -

Shall go को should go मे बगल लेते है )

Will go को would go मे बदल देते है

9 अन्य परिवर्तन

May के स्थान पर might

Can के स्थान पर could

Do या does के स्थान पर did

Did के स्थान पर had

Was, were calling के स्थान पर had been called

this के स्थान पर that

Here के स्थान पर there

Today के स्थान पर that day

Last day के स्थान पर the previous day

Yesterday के स्थान पर the previous day

These के स्थान पर those

Now के स्थान पर then

Tomorrow के स्थान पर the next day

Ago के स्थान before

Thus के स्थान पर so, in that, way

10 यदि reported speech का वर्ब सदैव सत्य रहने वाली बात या आदत प्रकट कर्ता है तो यह सदैव present indefinite tense me ही रहता है इस दसा मे indirect speech मे इसकी किर्या के tense मे कोई परिवर्तन नहीं होगा जैसे -
